How Bad Is The Winter Snow In Some Parts Of Texas

Parts of Texas are getting hit with another Winter Storm, and it’s mostly ice this time. Currently the ice is falling from San Antonio to Austin to Waco and moving to the Noertheast. The ice amounts are exceeding expectations with now predictions of upto 1 inch of ice in those areas, which will bring down trees and power lines, adding already to the devestation from the last 2 storms in those area. Currently over 3 million Texas households are without power. Locally as of this morning Counties in the K-HITS listneing area with power outages, Hood County has 721, Erath County 369, Palo Pinto County 1,156, Parker County 2,285, Johnson County785, Somervell County  67, Hamilton County 0, Bosque County 1 and Tarrent County 35,087. K-HITS we’ll be talking with area Mayors through out the morning to give us updates on how their cities are handling this historic Winter event
