Johnson County Is Planning On Scaling Down COVID-19 Vaccination Efforts

Johnson County Emergency Management Director Jamie Moore announced that beginning this week first shots for free COVID-19 vaccines at Cleburne’s vaccination hub will no longer be offered. The Johnson County hub will administrator second doses only and will close permanently after three weeks.

“Demand has significantly dropped off,” Moore said. “Last week they opened registration on Monday and it pretty much just stayed open all week.”  Only 36 active cases are recorded in the county, Moore said.  Texas Health Harris Methodist Cleburne Hospital saw no new COVID-19 cases last week, Moore added.
