Meals on Wheels Wichita County recently hosted its 2nd annual Appreciation Dinner to celebrate the contributions of its volunteers and donors. A highlight of the event was naming Marjorie “Ms. Marge” Hardin as the Volunteer of the Year. Hardin was honored for over 25 years of steadfast service, specifically for her diligent work at Midtown Manor. Her commitment goes well beyond simply dropping off food, as she consistently walks every hallway across all seven floors of the facility during her weekly routes to ensure that no resident is overlooked. Her efforts represent thousands of steps annually, providing essential wellness checks and companionship to homebound individuals.
