Each year the Children’s Advocacy Center of Johnson County Board of Directors and Advisory Board work to organize an annual event called “Cowboys for Kids.” It is essentially two large events in one weekend.

On Friday night, we host the “Roping the Stars Gala,” highlighting many rodeo and western television artists, Texas country music artists, and professional athletes. All of these celebrities give their time, talent and donations toward helping our kids. The evening features dinner, music, a key note speaker, and live and silent auctions.

On Saturday night the fun continues at the Johnson County Sheriff’s Posse Grounds with our 2nd Annual Concert Event, featuring Aaron Watson. Aaron Watson has been hitting the top of the country music chart and is a wonderful family man. We are so excited that he is going to be our featured artist this year and he is excited to come and support the child victims we serve!
