Dear KHits Listeners,
Wednesday, April 7, Mike Greene passed. All of us have lost a beloved radio personality. Others lost a true friend. Those of us who worked with Mike lost a cherished friend and mentor. Julie lost her dear husband.
Fortunately, he left a vast legacy not only in the lives he touched but also in the radio station he built. As crazy as it may sound, Mike loved getting up at 4am, so he could do 3 hours of live radio every morning, because he loved the listening audience. He loved interacting with you and was passionate about providing quality programming and a morning show that informed and put a smile on people’s faces as they started their days. By his example, he instilled that in all of us.
95.5 KHits radio will go on. The “Wakeup Crew”, after a short break, will as well. It won’t be the same without Mike at the controls, as he was one of a kind. However, we will do our very best to carry on in a way that would make him proud. We hope you will join us.
Sincerely,
95.5 KHits radio
