The tenth annual Dino Dive invites participants to take the plunge into the cold, clear waters of the Paluxy River on January 1, 2026, at 2 PM. This event offers a thrilling way to wash away the old year and start the new one with a cold, clean slate!
To commemorate the 10th anniversary, an exclusive, large, and highly detailed medal will be awarded to those who purchase a ticket. Only a limited number of these official Dinosaur Valley State Park Dino Dive medals are available.
The cost is $34.95 for a medal, which also includes a park day-use pass. While purchasing a medal is not required to enjoy the event, participants must purchase a ticket to receive this official award. Tickets (including the medal and park day use pass) can be reserved online via the provided PayPal link.
The dive will take place at the Blue Hole. Guests should bring a towel, dry change of clothes, and a sense of adventure. For sign-up and more information, please visit the Friends of Dinosaur Valley State Park website.
