After 120 years of print, the Mineral Wells Index has closed down operations in Mineral Wells, and has merged operations with the Weatherford Democrat. On a social media “goodbye” and “thank you” message on Saturday the 23rd, the Mineral Wells Index commented that the Coronavirus pandemic has burdened businesses with steep losses in revenue, and noted that the Mineral Wells Index was no exception.
