Aledo ISD staff members will be getting a two percent raise after the approval of the 2020-21 budget and decreased tax rate by the board of trustees. AISD Chief Financial Officer Earl Husfeld said “We have a general pay increase of approximately eight hundred fifty thousand dollars for teachers and librarians, that’s a minimum of a thousand two hundred dollars and everyone else is a two percent of that midpoint range.” The new tax rate will be decreased to $1.47 to $1.49 per $100 valuation.
