Get ready for feathered fun at the BTX Lucky Duck Derby, taking place from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on July 12 at The BRiCk outdoor pool, located at 550 NW Summercrest Blvd. This community event offers a unique spectacle and supports local city departments.
Event Mechanics:
- Duck Adoption: Interested participants can adopt rubber ducks prior to the event. A single duck adoption costs $5, with multipack options available to enhance winning possibilities. Each duck receives a unique number on its underside, linking it to its specific adopter. There is no limit to the number of ducks an individual can adopt.
- The Race: On July 12, all adopted ducks will be simultaneously released into a designated racetrack within the pool, embarking on a race towards the finish line.
- Prizes: Exciting prizes await the adopters whose ducks are among the first ten to cross the finish line.
The BTX Lucky Duck Derby is designed as a fun-filled morning for attendees of all ages, featuring various duck-themed games and activities.
