
C.A.T.S Fest Kicks Off This Thursday in Granbury!!
The 2019 C.A.T.S. (Cigar Aficionados Trades & Sales) Festival (aka CATSFEST 6) makes it’s way to Granbury with a 4 day festival of fun that supports our deployed troops serving our country via Op: Cigars for Warriors. According to Storm Boen, Chair/ CEO of Operation: Cigars for Warriors and President of CATS LLC, that the Granbury event “will be the first Craft Beer AND Cigar Festival in the United States”. “CATSFEST is so much more than a Craft Beer and Cigar Festival, it is a great community coming together to support our deployed men and women in the Armed Services and having an exceptional time while doing it”, Boen added.
The event will kick off with a pre-party at “The Local Cafe” in Granbury Thursday May 23rd from 6pm – 11pm. On Friday May 24th pre-registration runs from 10am until 4pm, at the Lake Granbury Conference Center, with the “Granbury Signature Drink Competition”, The “Drew Estate VIP Denim & Lace Dinner” in the Conference Center Ballroom, and The “Casi Chili With Beans Cook Off” in Hewlett Park are just some of the events for the day.
Saturday May 25th is a day full of events and competitions, with Chili Cook Off’s, the Cigar Round Up & Craft Beer Experience, Silent Auction, “Live Music”, Different Competitive events, and much more! Sunday is the 95.3 K-HITS “Cigar For Warriors 2 person Scramble” at Harbor Lakes Golf Club” with many more events though out the day.
Op: Cigars for Warriors, is the only 501(c)3 that takes care of our service members while they are Deployed in combat zones, Long Term Deployments and Floats; with their number #1 requested item, premium cigars. They also send out when available, cutters, lighters, humidors, coffee, video games, magazines, etc.
