Cleburn might be joining Granbury and Weatherford in lowering property tax. Currently, the rate is .773206 but the new proposed rate is .760092 cent per $100 of property evaluation. A public hearing will be held on the 25th of august at 25 at Cleburne City Hall, and the official vote will be the 5th of September.
