Granbury Police Chief anticipates heavy traffic in Granbury due to the solar eclipse. Police Chief Mitch Galvan: “Granbury and neighboring areas will experience a total eclipse on Monday, April 8. Expect the skies to be darker between 12:21 p.m. and 3 p.m. The city expects an influx of visitors for the eclipse. Many of them will leave the area between 2:30 and 4:30 p.m., leading to substantial traffic congestion.
