In a social media post, Lift The Bar Fitness posted a letter from the city of Granbury that reinstates their Certificate Of Occupancy after it was revoked on Wednesday May 6th. According to a story in the Hood County News, Mayor Pro Tem Tony Mobly said that the city never intended jail time for Hebert (the gyms owner), but said that elected officials were told that they must enforce the governor’s orders. He said that directives from Washington and Austin “have been a moving target, and all we’re doing is following the rule of law for that day.”
In their social media post, Lift The Bar Fitness said they would like to thank everyone who stood by them for the massive amount of love and support they have been shown over the past few weeks.
