The body of an apparent hit-and-run victim was found on Cleburne Highway near Massey Road in far eastern Hood County Tuesday night about 10. The man was identified, but the sheriff’s office is not releasing the name until next of kin has been notified. The body was transported to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy. Anyone with information about the incident should call the sheriff’s office or Crime Stoppers.
