Once again the Somervell County Water District will be holding their annual Independence Day Celebration, Thursday, July 4th at Wheeler Branch Reservoir in Glen Rose, Texas. This years event will be the 9th for the Water District, as people come from all over to enjoy the “live” entertainment, using the parks facilities for family cookouts, swimming and of course one of the best fireworks displays in the state.
This year The Brady Hulsey Band will be the entertainment, kicking off at 7pm. The fireworks show will begin at 9:30pm, in sync with music played on 95.3 K-HITS. Regular park admission will be in place until 7pm. After 7pm, admission is free. Make plans to spend the day with family or friends at the Wheeler Branch Reservoir on July 4th!
