Select Texas driver’s license offices will open on Saturday through the end of the year for license or identification card renewal or replacement. Nearly 700,000 Texas driver licenses or identification cards expired while drivers license offices were closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Participating drivers license offices will offer a limited number of Saturday appointments beginning on Oct. 3 to help Texans handle these specific transactions.
