The Parker County Hospital District is becoming a regional vaccine hub through the Texas Department of State Health Services, which will allow the distribution of 306 vaccine doses to Palo Pinto County and Wise County per week. Palo Pinto County currently has a 7,400-plus list of people signed up for the vaccine. Palo Pinto County Judge Shane Long said they are expected to receive the first shipment of 306 doses next week.
