Prison Escapee Caught In Johnson County

Daniel Lee Blankenship caught by police less than 2 hours after escaping Johnson County Jail. Johnson County Sheriff Adam King said that Blankenship “ was being escorted by a guard out to throw out the kitchen trash he took out running and jumped the fence.” Deputies searched for Blankenship with the use of drones and Bloodhounds. Blankenship was originally in jail charged with burglary of a habitation, breaking and entering, obstructing an officer, and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and now escape is added.
