The Hood County Sheriff’s Office said they have received reports of customers using fake money. The fake money being used is believed to be fake movie prop money and have motion picture purposes and in props we trust written on it. As a result of these major discrepancies between the fake and real money, people caught using these fake bills will be charged with theft instead of forgery.
