The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for the K-HITS listening area from Tuesday 6pm until Thursday at 6am. Temperatures will be a bit warmer for this storm, so the prediction is for a mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain turning over to all snow for some of our area, other areas may pick up just freezing rain. Wide spread snow up to 3 inches is expected with possible ice accumulations of 1/10 – 1/4 inch is possible. Some areas north or northeast of our area could receive up to 6 inches of snow.
