On Thursday NDecember 5th, Mike and Julie from the K-HITS Wake-Up Crew surprised Shelby Carter from Granbury High School with the K-HITS 95.5 Cheerful Heart “Teacher Of The Week”award! Ms. Carter was awarded $150 worth of prizes including a $50 gift card from Cheerful Heart of Granbury, Glen Rose and Meridian, a $50 Visa card, along with gift cards from area restaurants! Ms. Carter was nominated by Hannah Rogers who is part of the Granbury High School Drill Team who noted that Ms. Carter is positive and very invested in making the Drill team a model for the High School, and she is a true “Rockstar”.
