The Hood County Sheriff’s Office has received several calls of a scammer identifying himself as Lt. Johnny Rose with the Hood County Sheriff’s Office accusing people of missing jury duty. Lt. Johnny Rose stated, “This is a scam and I would never call you about jury duty.” And that If you get this call please hang up on the impostor and if you need reassurance, then call Hood County Sheriff’s Office to confirm the scam call.
