The Stephenville Education Foundation (SEF) will host a Chamber MIX on Thursday, January 22nd, from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the new Art Briles Stadium, located at 2798 W. Frey Street. This event provides an opportunity for Chamber members to network with one another and meet SEF board members while enjoying provided appetizers and refreshments.
Foundation Mission and Goals
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the foundation was established by community leaders to bridge the gap between educators and the public. The SEF focuses on supporting innovation and activities not covered by tax revenue, aiming to benefit students, teachers, and local commerce. Their core objectives include encouraging students to reach their highest potential, rewarding exemplary teaching, and building community confidence in local schools to better prepare future leaders.
Event Activities and Prizes
Attendees are encouraged to participate in the Dollar Bucket Game by bringing a dollar and a business card for a chance to win the total cash collected at the welcome table. Additionally, the event features a “Loyal Loot” drawing, which currently stands at $1,850. To be eligible for this prize, an individual must be a Chamber member in good standing and be present at the mixer during the drawing.
