A few highlights of school reopening….as it appears to me and unless something changes as to current orders…..
—-staff must self screen every day
—-parents can opt for in person or ‘virtual’ on-line instruction. If you choose on-line and change mind you wait until end of a grading period to switch
—-any parent or visitor entering the school must be screened(questioned), Questions CAN be supplemented with temperature checks of adults
—-students can be screened as well(questions). Regular temperature checks of asymptomatic students is allowed but NOT recommended
—-open windows/increased airflow whenever possible
—-follow CDC guidelines for more frequent and enhanced cleaning/disinfecting
—-emphasize and provide for hygiene
—-separate desks if possible
—-masks…at the moment it appears staff and students over age 10 must wear masks as well as any visitors (state will provide)—a few specific exceptions
