A storm surge warning is also in effect from Port Aransas, Texas, to the Rockefeller Wildlife Refuge, Louisiana, Beta is coming on shore with 50pmh winds, a storm surge of 4 feet, and 5 to 10 inches of rain with isolated amounts of rain in the 15 inch range. Flooding is already being reported in downtown Galveston.
