C.A.S.T. for Kids events are designed for children with special needs. Events are free for children to attend, and all children leave with their very own fishing equipment! Children must be accompanied by their parent/guardian for the ENTIRE event May 2nd.

Volunteers needed
Volunteers are needed to assist children with special needs at a fishing event May 2nd, with no prior fishing experience necessary, and can contribute for approximately six hours on the event day. Shore volunteers will help with tasks like setup, registration, photography, lunch service, and cleanup, while boating volunteers will provide their boats for fishing excursions lasting two to three hours. Pre-registration is mandatory, and those aged 13-17 require parental consent, with 13-15 year-olds needing a parent or guardian present. Volunteers are asked to leave children 12 and under at home to ensure focused attention on the event participants. Event details will be communicated via email and text after registration.
