95.3 K-HITS and Cheerful Heart of Granbury, Glen Rose and Meridian, took time out during National Police Week to salute the men and women who put their lives on the line keeping our communities safe, by visiting several of the department in the K-HITS listening area and to show their appreciation by giving officers these specially designed shirts that salute all first respondor’s. On Friday May 17th, Mike and Julie from the “Wake-Up Crew” visited the Somervell County Sheriff’s Office, The Glen Rose Police Department, the Granbury Police Department, and Hood County Sheriff’s Office.

“We’re still not finished, and over the next few days and into next week we’ll visit other departments letting them know that Cheerful Heart and 95.3 K-HITS supports and backs all the officers in our area” said Julie Greene co-owner of 95.3 K-HITS. The staff of 95.3 K-HITS along with Cheerful Hearts owners Bill and Melanie Vaden and their staff again send out a big thank you to these officers, and who knows, the K-HITS Cruiser may do some pulling over of police officers in the days to come to hand them a shirt and say thank you” Greene added.
