200 jumpers came out on a Saturday morning with temps starting out in the 30’s, many in costume to participate in the first ever “Lake Granbury Goose Bump Jump”! Visit Granbury, along with several sponsors including K-HITS encouraged Jumpers to come out and register to jump in the lake for their favorite non-profit charity. The non-profit with the most jumpers would receive at least $1000 donated by local hotels, plus any registration fees. Prizes were awarded to many in costume, and the non-profit that received over $2,000 was Second Chance Farm.
Tammy Dooley with Visit Granbury was thrilled with the turn out, and the event gives Granbury a new first of the year event to kick off the Winter tourism season, which Dooley hopes to grow in the up coming years.
